Yes, the weather report does expect
rain today, but the weather is not scheduled to hit any of the
areas we play until the afternoon. Even at that, it is 30% with
little humidity, so I am thinking we should be good.
There is a wind advisory for today's
games. The morning games will see gusts of 20-25mph and will die
down for a little bit for the afternoon games. But they may be
dealing with some moisture.
It WILL be cold today, so make sure
to stay warm!

be receiving emails from iBall Stats which is the site National
Adult Baseball Association is using for the waivers. It is MANDATORY
for all players to have a waiver filled out by the 2nd week. If
you are injured and do not have a waiver filled out, you are not
covered. Your managers have been provided the information
tonight, so be looking out for this in the next couple of days!

Welcomes the High Desert TOROS!
SCHA is proud to announce that it has accepted the Toros which
will be a mix of the 28 and older Toros and Bulldogs from the
league which folded last year. This will bring the total number
of teams to 13 for the upcoming season and will provide a
perfectly symmetrical schedule with every team playing each team
twice along with two bye's.
Of course with this brings a completely revamped schedule which
is currently available on your team page or on the schedule link
to the left.

SCRIMMAGES
RUNNING WILD

So
far this pre-season, scrimmages have been flying out the
door.
The
Orangemen had a pick up game two weeks ago. Then last week,
the
Vandals
faced the new Mojave Greens followed by the Victorville Brewers
and Orangemen again.
In
Apple Valley, the new Diablos team met up (unintentionally) with
the High Desert Angels. Both teams showed up
to
practice and ended up having a little scrimmage.
On
tomorrow's schedule is:
Dodgers
vs Brewers at Mojave Vista at 10am
Next
Sunday has:
Vandals
vs Brewers at Westwinds at 9am
Orangemen
vs Greens at Westwinds at 12pm

California Hardball Association season is about to start on
02/19/2012.
The season will be a 25 game season where every team will play
the teams in their division five times, the teams out of their
division once with two teams twice.
